Scott Huete was born and raised in New Orleans and is a senior trial attorney at Ron Austin Law. He earned a B.A. from Louisiana State University where he studied political science and also earned his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University School of Law.
Before joining Ron Austin Law, Scott spent the first thirteen years of his career representing and advising insurance companies and corporations in personal injury, commercial, and complex litigation cases. Despite his success in that arena, Scott was unfulfilled and felt compelled to take up the mantle of protecting individuals and their families after they had been injured. He now uses his knowledge and experience to help those most in need.
Scott handles serious personal injury and wrongful death cases arising from maritime/offshore accidents, onshore/industrial accidents, trucking and automobile accidents, and premises liability. He also handles complex commercial and class action matters. He has been recognized by Louisiana Super Lawyers as a Rising Star every year since 2018.
Scott is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana and Texas. His professional associations include the American Bar Association, Louisiana Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice, Federal Bar Association, Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute, and the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
Scott resides in Old Metairie with his wife, Whitney, and their three children.
